MS Filter plants have been delivered to, or are on order to over 30 communities in Canada and the U.S.A.
The Canisbay Campground water treatment plant is one of four MSF surface water plants in Ontario's beautiful Algonquin Provincial Park. All four plants employ the MS Filter system for a number of excellent reasons:
• No chemicals are used in the filtration process and no chemical waste residue produced
• Treated water quality is excellent
• Very little operator time is required. Operators state that on a typical day they spend 15 to 20 minutes a day in each plant.
Three of the four plants are shut down for the winter. The filters are drained but heat is kept on in the building at low levels. In the spring they simply fill the tanks and start filtering. Full biological treatment is restored in less then 2 weeks.
